Where It Comes From

Recovered along the shores of Lake Constance, this root arch suggested a bridge-like form the moment it was lifted. We followed the curve—easing contact points, sealing the grain with oil, and anchoring it on a quiet, massive wood base—then stopped before the story was overworked.
