About ARBOR

THIS IS MY CRAFT

Where it All Began

Some passions don’t need to be discovered — they’ve always been there.

Woodworking has been my passion since childhood. While I work full-time in the IT industry, a world of logic and structure, my free time belongs to ARBOR. Most weekends, you’ll find me out in nature with my family, searching along lakeshores and forest paths for fallen wood. What begins as a fun adventure together soon becomes the foundation of my craft.

Back home, the pieces are left to dry naturally, their shapes and textures slowly revealing possibilities. When the time is right, I return to the workbench, where patience meets imagination, and let my hands guide the transformation. Each finished piece is unique, handcrafted in Switzerland, and timeless by design, carrying not only the discipline of my profession but also the joy of family moments and the soul of my lifelong passion.

“I don’t rush. I don’t replicate. I listen, shape, and follow what the wood wants to become.”

From Hobby to Honest Work

For years, creating with wood was a personal ritual — now, I’m sharing that love with others. Each piece I offer is made slowly, deliberately, and entirely by hand from my workshop in a quiet Swiss town near Lake Constance.

The Material Matters

I choose reclaimed Swiss wood for its sustainability, its soul, and the hidden character aged into every ring. I work with grain, not against it — shaping objects that honor what the wood already knows.

“Every mark, every scar, every curve is a fingerprint of nature, preserved through craft.”

The Meaning of Handcrafted

To me, handcrafted means presence.

Presence in the making, presence in the object. My process isn’t rushed — it’s rooted. I shape, sand, and finish each piece alone, surrounded by silence and sawdust, until the piece feels complete — never perfect, always true.

Made to Anchor

These objects aren’t made to fill space. They’re designed to hold it, to bring intention and texture into the rooms they inhabit. Whether it’s a lamp, a holder, or a small sculptural form, each piece is one-of-a-kind. When it leaves my hands, it’s the only one that exists.

“I shape things that feel like they’ve always belonged to the space they enter.”

If My Work Could Speak

“I was shaped slowly, from something old into something timeless.

I carry stories in my grain.

I don’t follow trends, I follow truth.

I’m the only one like me — and now, I belong to you.”

Why the Handmade Matters

We live in a world of speed, polish, and perfection. That’s why people are drawn to the imperfect. To the handmade.

Because we all need something that reminds us to slow down. To touch something real. To own something that won’t exist again.

Thank You

Thank you for being here.

Thank you for choosing presence over production.

Thank you for believing that things made slowly matter more.
