To honor that story, each creation carries a dual Certificate of Authenticity:
one signed by hand, the other preserved forever on the blockchain.

The Dual Certificate System

Every ARBOR DESIGN creation is accompanied by two inseparable proofs of authenticity:

1. The Hand-Signed Certificate

Printed on premium paper, signed by the maker, and uniquely numbered.
It records your piece’s materials, serial number, edition, and creation dates.
A QR code links directly to its verified blockchain record — including its SHA-256 hash, Bitcoin block number, and timestamp.

2. The Digital Blockchain Certificate

  • Your digital certificate is permanently stored on the Arweave permaweb, an open, decentralized, tamper-proof archive.
  • It is time-anchored to the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps, ensuring an immutable proof of existence.
  • It contains a cryptographic SHA-256 hash, Bitcoin block number, and precise UTC timestamp — transparent, verifiable, and permanent.
  • It contains the View Product Dossier — a detailed archive of photographs, specifications, and provenance notes for your piece.

All documents accessible via the certificate’s QR code are preserved on the Arweave permaweb — decentralized, content-addressed, tamper-resistant, and independently verifiable forever. This system is completely vendor- and platform-independent: no company, authority, or service — not even ARBOR DESIGN — can alter or remove your record. Even if ARBOR DESIGN were one day to cease operations, your certificate would remain verifiable on the blockchain — a lasting proof of authenticity for generations to come.

Together, these two layers create a self-sustaining proof system that ensures your piece’s authenticity, timestamp, and integrity — for all time.

  • This certificate is a "test product" and does not link to an actual item.
  • All product details and metadata are fictitious, created solely to demonstrate how your future Certificate of Authenticity will appear.
  • The test certificate is provided in German.

How to Verify an ARBOR DESIGN Certificate

  1. Download the Certificate of Authenticity (PDF) and its corresponding .ots proof file.
  2. Go to opentimestamps.org → Stamp & Verify.
  3. Upload both files — the site will confirm that your document is anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain.
  4. The result will display the Bitcoin block number and timestamp
  5. Go to mempool.space
    • Paste the Bitcoin block number into the search bar (top right).
    • You’ll see the official blockchain record showing the exact timestamp (UTC) and other block details.
  • Note about the OTS proof:
    Some browsers may slightly change the file name or remove its extension when downloading.
    If that happens, you can rename the file either during or after the download.
    Simply add .ots at the end of the file name before uploading it to opentimestamps.org.

Note:
Each certificate is linked to its own unique Bitcoin block and timestamp.
All blockchain times are recorded in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time), ensuring global consistency and independence from local time zones.

The Information Sheet

Each parcel includes a dedicated Information Sheet for quick reference and easy verification.

  • It displays your main QR code linking to the official online certificate page — a permanent HTML record containing all related blockchain files.
  • It includes additional QR codes that point directly to your Certificate of Authenticity (PDF), its metadata record, product dossier and the OpenTimestamps (OTS) proof, allowing you to verify or download each component individually.
  • It provides a concise product description and key creation details for immediate reference.
  • It concludes with a thank-you note from the maker and a special discount for your next purchase.

All components remain permanent, accessible, and independent of any vendor or platform — ensuring that your proof of authenticity will stand the test of time.

Certificate Language

At the bottom of each product description, you’ll find a dropdown menu to choose your preferred Certificate of Authenticity language.
Your paper certificate, blockchain record, and information sheet will all follow your selection.

If no language is chosen at checkout, your certificate will be prepared in German by default.
Should you wish to receive it in another language later, simply contact us — we’ll gladly provide it.
