Forest Bloom – Driftwood Tulip Lamp
Forest Bloom – Driftwood Tulip Lamp
Inspired by nature’s petals, Forest Bloom blossoms from a rugged driftwood husk and holds a glowing bulb like a forest flower. The husk keeps its lake-weathered contours while the inner “petals” are eased and oiled so light gathers softly inside the bloom—wild, poetic, and grounded.

Where It Comes From
Shaped by water, wind, and time along the shores of Lake Constance, this driftwood suggested a bloom the moment it was found. We followed that gesture—opening the “petals,” easing the inner surfaces to reflect light, sealing the grain with natural oil, then mounting it on a quiet, weight-balanced base. The exterior shows lake-softened ridges with no bark remaining—mineral traces and tide-worn lines left as found. We stopped before the story was overworked, leaving a form that feels discovered rather than engineered.
Why It Matters
Forest Bloom turns raw shoreline wood into a calm, luminous gesture: material truth over ornament. It steadies a room with simple form and warm light—nothing superfluous.
For Those Who See Beauty in the Untamed
At Arbor Design, every object is a conversation between nature and maker. No two are alike. No process is rushed. Every piece is made once, with intention—and then never again. By day, a sculptural husk with petal lines and weathered texture; by night, a gentle glow rising from within. Place it on a console, bedside, or shelf where you want warmth without noise.
